I’m not saying that it’s likely or that it would have any effects.

    Yes, he can.

But he won’t be, or he’ll be given a suspended sentence that will never be supervised.

Basically they had 4 years to get it done but acted far too slowly and now there’s not enough time before he’s a sitting president they won’t prosecute.

No, they’re asking about the case that did go through where he was found guilty of 34 felony convictions. The People of the State of New York v. Donald J. Trump

He was supposed to be sentenced in September. Trump’s defense asked to delay. Prosecution didn’t object. Judge didn’t want to stick his neck on the line and accepted the delay.

I have no idea what will happen now but probably nothing meaningful anymore. It should have happened in September. I don’t know why the prosecution didn’t fight the delay, but understand why the judge did what he did.

But yeah, I completely agree with your sentiment. The momentum into nailing Trump down on crimes happened way, way, *way *too slow.

Theoretically, yes he can. Under US law (if the justice system was working correctly at all), no individual is above the law.

However, it is very unlikely. Trump is stupidly popular amongst people willing to overturn the establishment to let him do whatever he wants. Not to mention that he has a favourable supreme court that can just choose not to prosecute him.

    No.

It’s over. Trump is never going to be held accountable for any of it. In a few years he’ll die peacefully in his bed like Kissinger did.

Odd. The question fits here, but it isn’t a stupid question, its relevance is astonishingly stupid.

I projected three years ago that come the 2024 election it’s all going to dissolve into a nothing burger, regardless who wins, it was solely a dog and pony show to keep us divided and on edge. The same way that Hunter Biden suddenly is no longer discussed now that Biden is out of the race.

      They wrote. It down.

It may prove to not end in consequences, but they took notes on a criminal conspiracy before the outcome and it’s part of evidence submitted in federal court.

      Nothing burger is not nothing.

The courts are already starting to wind down investigations. This would have been the result regardless who won

Biden as a zionist wants what zionists want. It seemed to be good electoral gambit back in 2021 to let Trump embarass himself and GOP more by walking around unhinged, but after October 7th, Zionists want him to win and DNC wants what Zionists tell them to want.

Putting Trump in military jail for the treason charges makes sense instead of Aileen Canon case, and makes sense after Aileen Canon misbehaviour. Either the treason charges are as serious as Jack Smith says they are, and military jail is the right solution today, or it was all a witch hunt as Trump calls it. DNC making fundraising charades to hand over power to GOP fascism seems to be very pro Trump of them.

No the DOJ will begin winding down all investigations and closing cases against trump effective immediately. They are just trying to figure out how to do it.
