What do you guys expect when you guys want “Luigi” to assassinate others that you don’t like or don’t agree with lol The same people who posted about the person who “shouldn’t have missed”

The multitude of passionately, and casually, expressed desires and fantasies unleashed by the event that transpired at 1335 6th Ave on Dec 4, 2024 are symptoms of a socioeconomic illness in sore need of meaningful treatment toward a cure.

No one living a healthy life in a supportive society actually wants violence to occur.

they were afraid even conservatives were starting turn against them, and cons was thier KEY in bludgeoning any dissent against the oligarchs. they were able to rope them back unfortunately. also because early on it was drowning out any news about TRUMP, which gave people clarity for like 2 weeks.

Hey everyone, there’s a lot of you. You ever think maybe you can just troll them by none stop posting to all their subreddits. Hell the mods are like the same 20 people in over 5000 sub reddits. That’s a weak point.

Was the option to purchase the stock at a reduced rate, or just to purchase it before the IPO? When that happened, it just seemed like a way to inflate their opening stock price by getting the most hard core users to literally buy in.

Ok, thanks, I’m unfamiliar with pre IPO access, so that’s helpful. Just to make sure I understand, from Reddit’s perspective, they weren’t setting the option price lower than the market price when the option offered? There was just a pre ipo market which you got the ability to trade on, no income earned when executing the option?

reddit is making way for right wing-only content, they allow “other side content” to drive up engagement.

People often think it was the encryption key controversy that broke Digg. Nah, the massive vote brigades and cliques operating blatantly on the open were the first nail. The second nail was Digg redesign with the stated goal of “power users are good ackshually and no way this will go wrong”

If random ordinary users don’t have any power on the site anymore - won’t be heard and will just be punished for ordinary actions - what has Reddit really become?

Reddit has been doing this shit for years. It’s a big reason why I left. Spez (little piggie) was only the catalyst.

A few ban-happy,power tripping moderators did come over here, though. I don’t have specifics on that, I just know I’ve seen them, and I’ve also been banned for some real dumb shit. I just stay away from those communities/instances.

This feels somewhat different because previously, generally speaking, the problematic subreddits (jailbait, fat people hate, etc) were pretty much isolated to that subreddit, so action could be taken to that subreddit without a big blast radius to the rest of the site. Also, for the most part, the issues were targeting marginalized people. Going after people in the comments of r/popculture for upvoting a comment about Luigi is nothing like previous controversies.

I swear, there are some people that actively seek out parts of the internet to gain control of so they can push their agendas.

It’s like they get physically distressed at the idea of people discussing things they don’t want being discussed or holding views they don’t want held.

My 11 year old account, very active account, was recently banned from reddit but I’m not sure why. They deleted the comment so I’m not sure what it said. But I’ve been posting there for 11 years with no issues so something has changed.

I believe the comment I made was talking about if the US invaded Canada and I said they would be hard pressed to hold the country because Canadians look like Americans and we would take the battle across the border.

It’s a common sense statement. Doesn’t incite any more violence then quoting half the things Trump says about Canada any given day.

I think Reddit is purging the left leaning accounts and making a Nazi safespace like Twitter.

the amount of posts about trump is pretty obvious which way the site was heading, all the negative press helps trump, and its low effort to. its not about what hes done legislately in most cases, its about some stupid shit he did, like falling asleep or farting.

Easier to conquer a disconnected, uncoordinated, and gagged enemy unable to rally a force united by common messaging and calls to action.
