I’m the only who saw a W in his forehead and though the joke was that she was sleeping with Wario?
Millennial spotted!
But seriously, I’m so old I got this joke right away.
Most millennials will be familiar with the Literal Video version of the song, at least. That thing was everywhere in 2008.
Early millennials grew up with the original. Even though I was born around when the song released, I’ve seen that music video many, many times on TV in late 80s/early 90s.
Hell, Family guy made fun of it at one point. Don’t have to be that old to recognize it pretty quickly.
Also true, thanks VH1!

Piiipe wreeench fiiight!
Buhu I’m so fucking old -literally everyone here
Even my 15 year old nephew knows the song and video. Stop projecting.
Genuinely made me exhale from my nose
“Darling he meant nothing to me! He was just a one-hit wonder!”
“He’ll be gone, in a day or … TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”
I’m sure he took on him
Context, for those who aren’t old as fuck 😞.
my personal opinion: A-ha’s Take on Me was the greatest music video of all time. what’s your choice?
Wynonna’s Big Brown Beaver
I don’t know about greatest of all time, but it was definitely a work of art.
Good question. I would say probably something by Michel Gondry like the video he did for Chemical Brothers’ Star Guitar or Let Forever Be or maybe one of his Björk videos.
But I’d definitely put Take on Me at the top of the 80s video pile. My absolute favorite video of that era would be And She Was by the Talking Heads, but Take on Me is so overplayed at this point that I’m not sure if that’s why I don’t like it as much.
Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice.
Sabotage
Easy: Separate Ways by Journey

Possibly NSFW if your boss is a dick.
Foo Fighters - Everlong
I’m really into animation, so my favorite is The Greatest Living Show by Itoki Hana and Toby Fox. It’s a rather recent one, but my second favorite is a classic : Love Is All by Roger Glover and Ronny James Dio.
Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer.
I’m old enough to get this, and that makes me a little sad.
