I honestly believe he was just trolling when he said that and he probably giggles to himself everytime someone says (shudder) ‘jif’. It’s a hard G from graphics so I don’t know how else is could be reasonably pronounced.

In the last few years? The Magic Sword (1962) about 7 times I think and I could go for another.
An odd one to start with. The first nine are free, look for Cube Escape collection. There’s a narrative that runs through and will make the other entries make more sense.
It’s not difficult but I really enjoyed Super Liminal. Very short but fun.

I very nearly had to use a guide at one point but I stayed strong as everything I’d read said I’d regret it if I did. So glad I didn’t as the joy of discovery in this game is unparalleled. Top 5 gaming experience of all time, I reckon.
