Mine was WASPy, so pretend it doesn’t exist.
Un Dorian Gray sin pasado, ni patria ni bandera.
I’m just a guy in the #pnw who likes going on adventures, and playing games with friends.
Three things I love: the Oxford Comma, irony, and missed opportunities.

I don’t know if Tailscale counts because it’s mostly open source (with options to run your own server), but I use it constantly to connect to Home Assistant and Jellyfin on my home server, as well as pairing it with NextDNS (pihole is possible for those that want to go that route) for ad blocking and Mullvad to use them as an exit node.
I usually warn people that I’m about to sneeze so they’re not shocked/surprised/scared.
Same, I got grandfathered into the unlimited plan at only $5ish a month. I really can’t beat that.
That’s how I always did it, using the shifted gear as a secondary brake just in case, opposite of whatever incline I was on. But I learned back when pumping the brakes was also considered a skill you had to learn, so maybe it doesn’t apply with more modern cars?
Ugh, of course there is.
Popular take, but I also thought it was dead. I was on Firefish and noticed it was seriously degraded in day to day use. I started with Mastodon, but the *isskey platforms just have a better ux/ui (IMO) and I really didn’t want to go back to Mastodon. So now I’m on Sharkey, and hoping this one sticks around!
Thanks for the warning. This has been on my wishlist for a while now, and I very likely would have done exactly that.
Design choice by the creators.
Cthulhu: Death May Die. So I’ll probably go insane while killing cultists and whatever unspeakable horror is waiting this time. Should be a good time.
What age is a good age to give them one?
After watching their promotional video with a French Swedish Chef blasting flies on sweets while doing a dance I’m sold.
Cool, that’s what I was hoping. I’m perpetually in the “knows enough to be dangerous” category.
Do they also log everything that comes through a private ntfy server? Or just what goes through their notifications?
Oh! I read that as Social Justice Warriors and was somewhat confused. I’m glad you said something.
Oh thank goodness, I was afraid it had been canceled.
I have global entry, so they already have my biometric data. I’d love to not here scanned, but this point it wouldn’t be anything they didn’t already have.
Schitt’s Creek. Half my online conversations are already gifs from the show.
I also can’t see who took my package with a regular doorbell. But apparently having security cameras on your property is dystopian surveillance.
