General instability does not make a world war. It takes quite a lot of deliberate effort for that to happen. Undisclosed aid to Iran means nothing, and Pakistan India border skirmishes are unrelated to Iran.

The most likely scenario I could see is if the US gets bogged down in a drawn out war with Iran, and other powers, China specifically, exploits that situation to do their own expanding. It helps that the US has never been weaker, and that its leadership is easily exploitable of course. Although it is also unpredictable.

We have seen from his many other comments about this, that he just wants a propaganda bot that regurgitates all of the right wing talking points. So that will definitely be easier to achieve if he does it that way.

I don’t think it is a convention anywhere but very very far north. For the majority of people living in the Northern hemisphere by far, as in almost everyone, it has been some for some time now.

They have never been considered grunge by anybody. They released the album Achtung Baby in 1991, which recieved much critical acclaim, but so did a lot of other non-grunge bands. Just because a band released popular music in the early 1990s, doesn’t mean they are grunge.

There is a difference between being in touch with your ancestry to claiming you are literally a nationality which you aren’t. Americans always say “I’m Irish, Italian etc. etc.” and proceeds to be the ultimate arbiter of what is real Irish, Italian etc., when in reality they had some great-grandparents in of their family tree branches who may have been of that nationality.

By all means be interested in your ancestry, study the archives, learn about your distant family, but it does not suddenly make you Irish, Italian etc., you are American.
