Same. Plus I once strangled a chicken in a very brightly lit room surrounded by pitch-black night outside, thinking the blinds had been lowered. Well they hadn’t.
The horror i once experienced as a teenager after going out the front of the house to take the bin out and realising that those closely-bunded-bamboo-strip blinds we have on our front window create a one-way window effect at night, and that i could see my dad sitting at the family pc illuminated only by the glow of the CRT monitor.
I will never know what a passers by may or may not have seen but sometimes i remember this at 1am when lying in bed about to fall asleep.
One time that shit wasn’t muted. No one noticed…I think. That was super scary lol
