Reddit is experiencing a nationwide outage that has taken down the app and website. Thousands of users have reported error messages and comments disappearing from the site.
No I figured that part out but I think you have to be used to the tumblr/twitter format for it to feel intuitive. The avalanche of stuff being thrown at me was overwhelming. I’m guessing it takes a lot of curating to become good and I just don’t want to do that, my block list on Lemmy is already a few novellas long and I don’t want to start over.
Use Mastodon if you want to have a “twitter” like feed. Mbin is focused on replacing Reddit. That being said… Mbin also have microblogging support! Example: https://kbin.melroy.org/microblog
I never used twitter or tumblr and I have no idea what a microblog is lol. I feel like Lemmy already is a good reddit replacement, especially with the apps. Might give mbin a go on desktop, it was too cluttered on mobile. Thank you for your patience and explaining it for me tho, appreciate ya!
Nice… We welcome all users to the fediverse. Try mbin!
Here is the GitHub page: https://github.com/MbinOrg/mbin
Tried it, was confused.
My bad. That is the software side… If you want to register and join a server try: https://joinmbin.org/servers

Basically Mbin is Lemmy + Mastodon combined!
