  • Spotify could charge ten times their current price - indeed, should have been, for nearly the entire catalogue of western music? even at $100/mo it would have been a steal - and even so, they wouldn’t be paying artists significantly more, or even at a reasonable rate.

The model is the problem. The middleman is the problem. The service itself is the problem. It can never work in a way that pays artists fairly as long as it requires human oversight, administration and intervention, let alone all the wasteful shit like advertising and legal overhead/payola for politicians.

Get an AI to do it right, though… puffpuff, pass

  • “Not offensive” fucking narcissist lol. It doesn’t offend the trans community, no, instead it raises one of the biggest problems that 49% of the population has, for which there is no reason beyond that our meritocracy - not all, just ours - operates on sexist principles. If it doesn’t offend you you aren’t paying attention to what’s really important, which of course is always the problem with the sex obsessed.

I mean, it’s a good joke, but to call it not offensive is to self identify as male.

  • The problem is we deliberately make everything wrong so that it breaks. You can’t buy a good product once capitalism gets into full swing, because everything that justified its existence was a lie and the only thing that matters is money - not the world, not the people, just this fake paper bullshit that isn’t really worth anything and is just a status symbol that allows you to buy more status symbols.

When most people use the word removedry, this is the sort of thing they’re describing, not gay people. The word was evolving in this direction before everyone decided to pull a “satanic panic” on it.

edit: lmfao the word is autoremoved, case in point. why we doin so much censorship here? reddit is not a model to follow
