2·7 days agoI did one of the subtitle translations a while back, seem to remember it had to be done with open/free use licence. I’d be surprised if you can’t just re-edit the video to make it shorter and more to the point.
0·7 days agoThere are many different matrix IM clients, both for desktop and mobile. I’m guessing you’re thinking of Element, the defacto standard client from the makers of the matrix platform? Some of them are more tailored to the “average user”, like FluffyChat and SchchzshchildyChat (???)
IMO the variety of clients only make it more confusing for people unfamiliar with the ecosystem.
On top of that there’s different instances. It’s about as messy as the ActivityPub-based fediverse.

1·8 days agoI like Navidrome, it also supports the… Subsonic(?) protocol so one can use dedicated apps with on-device caching, which is nice for mobile devices without unlimited data.
