0·3 months agoI usually just ask users on mastodon in dms whether theyre fine with me posting it here and then make a completely new post if they say yes. For the actual video I download it from mastodon then usually shrink it to around half width and height and optimize it a bit so its within the lemmy file size limit
For actual crossposts from mastodon only the original author can do that and by tagging the lemmy community
