Just because it has options to clear junk doesn’t mean it has nothing to do with privacy.
You are acting like you can’t read the scripts yourself LOL.
Shouldn’t the podcast about passwords and 2FA be called “Security 101” instead of “Privacy 101”? How is that related to privacy? You should have two sections for your episodes: one for privacy and one for security.

This app is garbage and should be removed immediately. The company most likely used AI.
Tbf, PornHub’s ID verification is better than this. You can trust PornHub more than this random app with your ID, and there’s a reason why. This app just collected your ID for no reason. No wonder they only allow US users!

If you want the most privacy focused ISP, check out Cape. You can view the post I made about this company.

If you entered the country illegally, why are you surprised that they’re kicking you out? In some countries, the punishment is far worse, but in the U.S., they just deport you and send you back to your home country. To me, that seems like a good deal. Many immigrants did it the right way, so it’s not fair for those who didn’t to get away with illegally entering the country. Palantir is a terrible company, though.
I don’t know why you were downvoted. It looks stupid.

Highly doubt that you have walked past a random civilian who uses GrapheneOS. It just makes you stand out way more and is extremely rare to find a random person using GrapheneOS

lock@lemmy.mlto Privacy@lemmy.ml•Feds in Catalonia, Spain think everyone using a Google Pixel must be a drug dealer0·1 month agoHave you ever seen someone in public use GrapheneOS? Of course they would suspect them if the drug dealers they caught all use the same niche custom operating system.
How is iCloud not secure or privacy focused? You make no sense with this list. iOS is insanely secure compared to stock android.
You forgot to mention the aliases
You think using uBlock and a VPN while signed out with a good browser isn’t good enough? Agree YouTube is heavy but only if you have like 8gb of ram with lots of videos open

Most likely there are other alternative browsers that spoof the viewport size for iOS, like letter boxing in Firefox.
I just talked about screenshots as they are shared all the time and some people might not want other people to know what type of phone they are currently using, just general privacy.
For iOS devices, the model is not included in the metadata of a screenshot
lock@lemmy.mlOPto Privacy@lemmy.ml•Your iPhone model can be found or narrowed down from a simple screenshot0·2 months agoWhy can’t you share screenshots? It’s just general bad op-sec, obviously your phone model alone can’t be used against you, but it can be used to connect the dots with other information. People send screenshots all the time, and you can still share a screenshot of something while having privacy.
Some people share screenshots without knowing they are also giving other data included, like there phone model or something close to it. Even if metadata is stripped
Just a reminder that Linux was never intended for gaming and shouldn’t be used solely for gaming. However, you can find distros that claim to be optimized for gaming. If you want a Linux-based console, check out the Steam Deck. You will not be able to play most of the main popular games.
