This is basically what I’ve been telling people for years. Prototype in Python to get the concepts down, then when you’re serious about the project, write it in a serious language.

I don’t have anything fancy going on with the tablet. Like it’s not tracking the bike or my workout or anything like that. I just use my watch for fitness tracking and put up either exercise videos or a stream or something to watch on the tablet.

Yep. I’ve been doing this for a while now with a cheap old no-name bike and an ipad. Poor man’s peloton ftw.

• the urinal shitter (exactly what it sounds like, he was never caught)
• a notable/well-liked student athlete was suffering from depression and sadly took his own life
• the cool young teacher ended up being a pedo and his victim was a 15 y/o girl he was tutoring
• someone called in violent threats to interfere with notable school events (sports games, tests, etc.); this happened multiple times and then we never heard about it again, nobody in my circle ever heard anything about who it was

This is Musk’s oldest child, she chose the name Vivian when she came out and despite being genetically related to Musk actually seems like a pretty cool person. She went through some legal procedure to remove herself from his family, and IIRC basically walked away from all of that generational wealth because severing connections with an abusive father was worth more to her.

IIRC the developer of SponsorBlock was asked about this and seemed very unconcerned.

My retired parents live with me. I went ahead and put a PiHole on our home wifi. A day later my mother was literally complaining that she couldn’t click on ads on facebook. I told her those are ads and they track her and she says “well everyone likes to use the internet how they like to use it… can you put it back the old way? I want to look at these shoes”. Can’t fucking win.
