Dev boards for different microcontroller and fpga platforms. Also UART to USB adapters because I can never find one when I need one and just end up ordering more.
Anything else I can buy bricks and mortar without much hassle.

Nah nothing that cool. A megacorp that has so much influence that it doesn’t need a military of its own. It knows everything it needs to about everyone, can sway public opinion as it wishes, and will continue to enmesh itself into every aspect of private and public life. It produces no products. We are the products, and we are the consumers.
And it’s already here: Google, Meta, whatever Elon Musk is doing idk.
Some way of linking to a post somewhere on Lemmy that will open up the post in your logged in instance of Lemmy.
Haha that’s amazing. I think some stories are available in the newsletter for free. But good on them for trying to figure out how to make enough money. They don’t have ads, so it must be tough.
I give monthly to hellgatenyc.com for New York City local news
From what I saw, they usually end up backing off and looking for aphids that were less defended.
I’ve seen some epic battles in my vegetable garden between ladybugs going after the aphids and the ants defending them.

Trick FALSE Treat?
I don’t remember what we called those in my intro comp sci class.

Not a biologist either. As a thought experiment it seems possible, with two women able to have a daughter, and two men either to have either a daughter or a son.
It sits one step beyond what we’ve already done to produce a child that has (in a sense) three genetic parents: https://www.ox.ac.uk/research/three-parent-baby-raises-issues-long-term-health-risks
Edit: another post already has shared that no, this isn’t possible. Thank you @NOT_RICK@lemmy.world .

Basically humans will have sex with you, eat you, or make you a pet.
Sometimes more than one.
I usually will say or type “community”.
I know we don’t want to get too Science Fiction-y. I can’t help but think about the movie The Europa Report, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Upgrading my computer’s primary storage from a hard disk (HDD) to a solid state drive (SSD). Really young folks on here have no idea how amazing it was for computers to go from taking minutes to start up to taking seconds.
Buying my first cell phone, which was a Nokia smartphone, in 2003. Having email and useful applications in my pocket, including maps and web search.
“I was in the pool!”
Wait gallowboob moved to twitter?
Little buddy looks like he’s going in for a smooch 😘
Mostly yes: In a sense, doing anything “permanently and forever” is a big deal. People can change and grow, and a full permanent ban without any opportunity for appeal seems harsh. Very few things should warrant a permaban: one example that comes to mind is willfully attempting to circumvent a temporary ban. Posting spam, too.
Also no: Lemmy isn’t and shouldn’t be a critical part of anyone’s life. If you were forever banned from it, maybe it’s okay.
