I just… I… I can’t install a browser that’s called “Floorp”. I just cant. I wouldn’t be able to look another person in the eyes and tell them that “I use floorp”. It’s probably a perfectly good fork of Firefox, but I just can’t.

Ogg was apparently not named after Nanny Ogg, no matter how awesome that’d be.
The Xiph.org foundation themselves say that’s where the name came from.
The Vorbis audio codec was also named after Vorbis from Small Gods, the 13th Discworld book.
The new logo sort of looks like a white flag. It symbolizes the fact that Mozilla has just completely given up by now.
The moz://a logo is really genius. I wonder if their current leadership is so incompetent that they don’t even understand the :// part of the logo…
and frankly people got really pushy about a thing they don’t even pay for
He doesn’t owe anyone anything, and he can decide to run his open source project just as he pleases, but it could have gone so much better. People are mostly just disappointed, I feel like.
Alright, thanks
Yup, I can customize and change the settings of my Moondrop earbuds with Gadgetbridge instead of the official app.
They have a feature where they toggle sound presets depending on your location. That’s the only thing that requires an account, as well as access to your location. It’s opt-in however (and pretty useless imo).
If it can toggle ANC and “passthrough” mode based on location, that would actually be an awesome feature for me. I often wear my earbuds while walking, taking the train, and shopping, and in the train I like having ANC on but at the supermarket I like having passthrough mode on so I can hear the cashier better.
Why, PorkBun is great?
But you never truly “own” a domain anyway, you just rent it via the registrars. The registrars and registries can take it away from you at any moment anyway.
I find it interesting that Germany is so far behind when it comes to IT and modernization. It’s like you’re stuck in 1990, even though you’re surrounded by countries that have used chip payment cards since the early 2000s and contactless payments since the early to mid 2010s. Nobody here in Denmark has touched a fax machine in the last 15-20 years, and apparently Germans still fax things sometimes to this day??
I’ve had about 1000+ tabs open before, but I’ve gotten better at keeping them under control. It’s very normal for me to hit a couple hundred, once in a while, though, before I go through them all and weed out the ones I’m done with. Right now I only have 24, but 19 of them are my pinned tabs that are used all the time.
Knowing is half the battle
I rarely use that keyboard, but once in a while you just need to type something in a terminal or a remote desktop or something, and it really comes in handy then.
People often shit on the cheap Creality printers, and sure, the quality control is not great (and don’t expect any customer support), but I’m having significantly fewer problems with my Ender 3 V2 at home than we are at work with our Snapmaker 2.0 A350 (costs about 5-10 times at much).
I’ve had my V2 for a few years, and after getting a textured PEI spring steel build plate and changing the bed springs, it’s been super reliable and consistent. No other upgrades needed so far.
What am I even doing with my life… brb, gotta get me an octopus vase…
