An originally original gameboy. Still worked until about 2 years ago. I assume there’s just a little battery or a capacitor that needs replacing, but I haven’t had the time to look into it.
62·1 month agoI have no idea where you are getting your information from, but it is certainly not reality. Surveys show that public opinion of the Israeli government is falling steadily across Western Europe, including Germany.
And free speech is protected in Germany, it is by no means illegal to denounce or criticise any government or group.
Bazzite just works, it runs every game I have with zero fuss, it’s easy to run Windows programs / emulators / local LLMs, AND it’s basically unbreakable.
I second that opinion. It seemed shallow and easy at the beginning, but turned out to be a really entertaining and challenging game. I also love how the characters age, develop, and eventually retire.
0·2 months agoI hate mosquitoes too, but why do we keep insisting on changing/eliminating other creatures to suit us? Let’s modify OURSELVES to smell like citronella, or better yet, let’s make ourselves grow a thick coat of luscious, too-thick-for -mosquitoes fur! That should be relatively easy, and it would come with other benefits too.
Unless it is not.
I’m truly happy for you if is that easy for you, but addiction of any sort can be a bitch, and it’s not just a matter of willpower.
2·3 months agoNo worries, bazzite has you covered there too.
This is already being done in Europe to an extent. It is doable, but it requires a shift in thinking and more investment as well as planning. It’s not really about getting rid of plastic. Just single-use plastic.
I can second bazzite. It. Just. Works. But it is built differently from the distros that everyone has heard of like arch & Ubuntu, so it’s best to read up on how to install non-flatpak programs.
Keep in mind that steam can run Windows programs for you with it’s emulation layer. It’s not the only option, but it is convenient as an app launcher.
1·3 months agoJust a suggestion for a free web-based VTT, owlbear rodeo is super simple to learn, and quite flexible.
I haven’t tried it out on mobile, but I’d bet it’s worth a try.
