I’ve never seen that one, but I liked the series with Donald Glover.

He was an asshole too. But it is something easier to forget without the audible cue.
Yuuuup.
Fiend warlock player did not like learning how I used his minor backstory. (He actually loved it.)
He knew he needed to save a tree. He didn’t know he was the one to burn it, nor that he did so because it was a source of power to his mother, who was a night hag.
So much fun.
He saved the tree and even managed to change his Patron, but is too scared to confront his mother again.
I lived with a deaf man for a few months and one thing I noticed is he would often forget to turn off the water in the kitchen.
He didn’t watch TV at all and was not at all respectful when someone was watching or listening to something. Just constant interruptions.
I’d considered making one of them a veteran lich who has conquered other versions of himself and the other a ‘naive victim’ lich but that was too on the nose for what Marvel had been planning to do with Kang and also narratively unnecessary.
In mine they are yuan-ti abomination liches, and since they are each other’s phylactery, their bodies were intricately crafted to be serpentine ebony or ivory. Similar to yours in some ways.
Thanks for the stories, sounds like it was fun!
I’m in Duluth, Minnesota, if you’re anywhere nearby.
I’m a big guy. Tall, fat, boisterous, strong, opinionated, and outgoing. I love watching people, giving compliments, and delivering a solid joke. I make an impression on people whether I realize it or not. I’m too big to hide so I’ve chosen not to.
But I’m also an introverted hermit, so I almost never get to be that guy unless I’ve pushed myself to be out and among people.
I always wondered if that was supposed to be Dave Matthews (real fans call him Dave) but the whole plan fell apart.
Have fun with it!
D&D 5e game:I have two planets orbiting each other.
1200 years ago it was just a moon, then somehow the moon fell and almost ended the world.
But the next day there was a moon again.
Really it’s another version of the same world from a parallel timeline. The act of summoning it led the powers that be to seal the system in a bubble plane to keep the chaos from spreading.
The wizard who did it fell in love with himself from another timeline. The BBEG is two liches who are each other’s phylactery. If both cannot be defeated before the first revives, there is no way to stop them.
Such a tragic story, to do that much for love and then only be vulnerable when you’re near your love.
Their name is Zeitounessian, and I have a party on each world trying to stop him.
Neither party has yet determined that there are two of him.
I looked and didn’t see a family connection. And he would’ve had to have been at least an uncle.
My first CRPG, and my only RPG had been D&D.
My dad ran a campaign for our family when I was seven or so. Original D&D, not even advanced. It didn’t last terribly long but left a lifelong impression.
I recently inserted Creeping Coins to my Curse of Strahd campaign, as a matter of fact.
It was an unpopular twist, despite the group carrying a fortune in cursed money and having nothing whatsoever to spend it on.
I loved that so so much. He broke all the rules. He told jokes, read them from a book, paced them terribly, and paused for laughter when there wasn’t any.
“Cloris Leachman is here!” checks the book “Cloris, if people say you’re over the hill, don’t beleive them. You’ll never be over the hill. Not in the car you drive.”
Yes, I have had it for 30 years.
The core Avengers:
Captain America: Battlemaster Fighter
Black Widow: Assassin Rogue
Iron Man: Armorer Artificer, as others said
Hulk: Path of the Giant Barbarian
Hawkeye: Arcane Archer Fighter
Thor: Pact of the Blade (Hammer) Warlock
Wait, wait, not that fast!
My car broke down one night after dropping a friend off at his place.
I was about ten miles from home in a very hilly area.
A guy in a car around my size pulled over, pulled out a tow strap, and carefully got me home, even though the strap came off every other turn or so.
I tipped him with the rest of the meager cash I has.
A few weeks later he dropped by and asked me to sign up for his pyramid scheme. But the nice driver part was days earlier, I don’t hold that against him.
I live in northern Minnesota. We understand that if someone is on the side of the road - especially in winter - that can be a crisis.
I have never been roadside in Minnesota while waiting for a tow truck without multiple people stopping to see if I’m okay.
We look after each other, but this was an exceptional story.
Also had a guy find me with a flat who had an air tank in his car, but it was empty. So he took us with him to get air and then filled my tire up and stayed with me and my wife until he was sure it was properly filled. Wasn’t even winter, just cold and rainy.
I remember on our bus ride to school we passed an old store that had, spray painted on the side, “Forgive them, Lord, for they know not what they do.”
Months went by and I’d ponder that a bit when we passed it, until someone updated the old quote.
“Forgive them, Lord, for they know not what they doo-doo.”
