It’s a spammer with a hard on against mbfc who has been posting shit “memes” across different instances. Best to block and ignore whenever you see an alt pop up
With zero evidence, other than having watched their crusade against mbfc over this past week, this feels like a weird alt by /u/CaliforniaKove who has been spamming everything with anti-mbfc posts recently
It’s the later. As the other user pointed out, lemmy.ml censors vulgar language by default
Lovely - mods are removing all comments that are pointing out that /u/CaliforniaKove has been spamming multiple instances with the same agenda for days now. I’m guessing pointing out spam and voicing disagreement is not allowed? Better yet, they’re citing community Rule 2, which has to do with reposts and in no way applies to the removed comments. Unless they mean to cite Rule 2 of lemmy.ml, which is also absurd imo considering the shit that regularly gets posted on the instance (of which I’m a member). Normally I don’t removed about getting comments removed, but not allowing people to express frustration with actual spammers, and removing their comments citing an anti-spam rule, is fucked up and smells of agenda pushing vs. actual moderation.

The video visuals were phenomenal. Great callbacks to 70s psychadelia pop and 80s synth pop visuals. The standout for me though was the inclusion of the brass instruments. Absolutely fantastic way to punch up the energy in the song, especially the hook where her voice is blended with the brass in the background and you can’t tell if it’s her making the sounds or the instruments
OP is trying to imply that women are paid less then men because they’re unwilling to put themselves on the line in tough situations - the woman is ducking in the back while the man is covering Trump out front.
It’s a sad attempt at being edgy
I’ve found Thunder to be a great replacement with some modern, gesture and UX friendly enhancements. Raccoon for Lemmy is pure magic and I highly recommend it as well, but the UX and UI are more modern and has less of that RIF, old-school forum thread scroller vibe.
One reason we like the remote thermostat is it allows us to adjust the temp automatically for house plants depending on temp and humidity.
Love the texture added by layering the red onto the blue background instead of the other way around. Even more so the use of directionally of brush to create a sense of dynamic movement and momentum, and the fact that you worked outsode in so the eye is drawn texturally in that direction through the layering

My friend, that all sounds lovely to me. Don’t fall trap to societal (and especially capitalistic) definitions of achievement and mediocrity that demand a constant stream of more more more. It’s ok to be content and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
That being said, if you’re unhappy, get after it. You mention wanting to play Baldurs Gate but feeling guilty about lack of partner time and fear of getting sucked into it for hours: what if you both dedicate a personal hobby night once a week where you can both do whatever and get lost in your own worlds separately without guilt? My partner and I recently started doing this on Fridays and it’s been a game changer.
To add to this, on Lemmy I often find myself both agreeing and disagreeing with a user depending on the topic and community. It adds a layer of additional context and nuance to that user. If I was just to follow the user vs. community, however, I may get the impression that the user is not worth following if I happen to run across them on a topic that we have disagreements on.
Then how about your government stop killing and abusing Palestinians. It’s almost as if decades of apartheid oppression, murder, and human rights abuses have consequences
Oh noooo…anyway
