For anyone curious. Domestic cost is $20k.
So that’s still like a 50 to 1 cost ratio on the kill, and I guess that doesn’t include ordinance cost.

Where’s the drone watching the drone watching the drone?
How can they force that and not also force a fee to move it to a different wallet you own?
People change wallets all the time and putting a fee on that would be inexcusable
If it’s a networked game, but there’s no reason a offline game shouldn’t work other than incompetence.
Also since the NFT is the DRM the game could be available for download outside of the publishers purview, such as a public torrent site.
You could sell the NFT and lose access to the game just like a disc
You wouldn’t be able to modify it as the nft would just allow you to download the game.
Are they worried people will bypass a speed limiter and go faster on the 1000w motor?
That sounds more appropriate ya
It’s the internet that isn’t geared towards community anymore.
It’s more like people aren’t geared to community, not the internet.
I think that’s partially why even though they can, they still require a human to make the kill decision.
Once the drone makes the decision itself it’s a whole other game.
Short of full on AI controlled, I imagine in the near future we’ll see AI handling the target tracking and shooting once aquired and a human will authorize the targets.
Shit, you’re right.
Now we just need some missle recursion and the war is a slam dunk win!
No its 17 launchers and each launcher has 8 launchers, so 136 launchers.
Useless without missles though. So many launchers!
I had to check, did they mean launchers or batteries.
Are you that daft?
It was a joke about how stupid it would be to only be launchers.
OP wasn’t sure and had to verify for us.
OP wasn’t sure if they were sending the missles until they read the article.
I made a what I thought was funny comment about how they were only going to send the launchers, and fuck the missles.
Edit: also in format of NO SOUP FOR YOU, but I should have left the “though” off for that.
It was a joke based off what OP said…
You need AA? Here’s 17 launchers! NO MISSLES FOR YOU THOUGH!
watching the FPV perspective, I would be so sick trying to pilot these things.
Also that went on forever, I don’t understand how it was able to carry so much.
Alternative Facts, not disinformation.
Moving the equipment into place if it’s from far enough away also makes it target they can watch for and get in transit while it’s probably more exposed.
What’s more likely to happen is Starship’s will be launched where the entire ship becomes the telescope, and then we’ll have arrays of these much further away.
Not sure if it’s the same for radio, but for optical that means we can get a 9 meter mirror up there without any expensive folding mechanism, and who knows how big if we fold them as the fairing is not only wider but also longer.
Cost would go from billions to hundreds of millions or less. James Webb cost 10b.
The James Webb folding mirror is 6.5m and was folded into a 4.5m fairing…
