We finally don’t need custom resources for simple exports!
You can also write your own systems like that for Godot, for example Jolt is available on the asset library!
Awesome news!
I’m not really surprised! It’s come a looooong way since 3.0, but I’m glad to hear that the newer users are understanding of the model. I guess we have Blender to thank for that
I hope it catches on!
Definitely agree, maybe it’s time to share Paul Ramsey’s talk on the subject again

A handful of shortcuts isn’t that hard
Hell yeah let’s beat it like a piñata
Hmm, I have no idea what to call the genre but I like that song you shared! Maybe California Nights or Where Were You When the Sky Opened Up? I’ll try to think some more, those are just off the top of my head
Here’s the repo, MIT licensed but there’s no description since it’s covered in the video: https://github.com/lukky-nl/Pocket-Godot
as in “your fork is official now, we have our own compatability in .net and there’s no need to maintain it”
The recognition is nice, but there hadn’t been a major release in over 5 years. I’d guess the outcome is mostly paperwork
Yep, this is pretty common since they have so many contributors
During the beta and release candidate stages of 4.3, we accumulated a lot of PRs that were of great quality, but deemed too risky to include in 4.3. We have begun merging those PRs now and have quickly gathered a lot of changes that warrant a dev release!
Many of the changes in this release are bug fixes that will be backported to Godot 4.3 and released in 4.3.1! So please test this release well so we can be confident with the changes and release 4.3.1 with them as soon as possible.
Metal rendering, 3d physics interpolation, texture import speed improvements! Sounds like some nice updates
This is in unicode though? U+2042
I like it! Distinct but still simple enough that it could be easily stylized. The constellation symbolism works for me.
Ideally if it were used as an icon it would be slightly larger than the default text on a given page, though I’m not sure how well it fares on those cheap low-res laptops
I contributed a lot of comments to the Godot community back when posts didn’t get much interaction, I wouldn’t want those gone. I still come across my own replies when looking up errors!
I used to use the app years ago, does it still hold up? Would be nice to use if it supports rss 🤔
