I found an old-ass typewriter after I bought my grandparents’ house. I hope to eventually find a way to float the keys on this all-metal typewriter so that I can add contacts to the key pads and turn the roller into a common contact. Then I’ll wire the whole thing into a Bluetooth keyboard controller. Why Bluetooth? The typewriter came with its original case and I want to make opening the case be the power switch.

I was thinking the same, as in “that sounds like a fun project”… Not very useful one, but definitely fun :)
Probably less keyboard lag than my current wireless setup tbh
