    I love my race, it is the best race on the planet. It has invented so many things. I am proud of my race.

    And when I say “my race” I obviously mean the only race that matters: the human race.

    Everything else are just variations.

    This is just wrong. Demand deportation for naturalized citizens has split the European nationalists in the EU Parliament.

      That’s because the concept of biological races has been thouroughly debunked. I will never understand why Anglophones still insist on using the word “race”.

    look I’m not in favor of discriminating against people based on what race they’re a part of but also I’m a race realist; I think pretending all races are equal and there’s no difference between any two races is ludicrous and against all empirical knowledge we’ve accumulated over decades.

    of course some races are better than others and one way or another, one race will have to be, for lack of a better word, “superior”. again this is not a condemnation against any individual who may be a part of one race or another, or even multiple races. but if we consider historical achievements, we would have no choice but to accept that bay to breakers is simply the superior race.

        to be truthful I made it so deliberately obnoxious that it’s unfair to expect people to suffer through. I knew it would go underwater but that’s the only way it could work at all. no fun if you see it coming.

      Not only do I highly doubt the validity of your argument, which an overwhelming majority of scholars would disqualify based on its implicit assumptions (although not the idea that a hierarchy of societies exist at a given point of time), but I also strongly think it has no place on Lemmy. To see it hasn’t been moderated yet is a surprise - an unwelcome one.

    Racists think there is some sort of hierarchy among groups/nations, of which of course their own is at the top. Doesn’t matter where the racist are from, Asia, South America, North America, Europe, Africa, …

    They always believe they belong to the cream of the crop, and use different specific statistics to prove so. But that is just dumb login. In reality there are only 2 groups: normal people at the top, and racists at the bottom. Even the most useless non-racist adds more to humanity than the best racist.

    Racists add so little to society, they have to pretend skin colour is important.

    Racism is a cancer on humanity that should be cut out with a huge knife.

    “We both agree that the wrong people are in charge.”

    There are so many terms today that are so over used that they have become meaningless. There are still actual racists. Unfortunately there will always be racists. But you minimize that real problem by shouting “racist” at anyone who disagrees with you

      I’ve not heard it overused. Now, if your definition of racism is “has a deep hatred of some race” then I can see why you’d think that. Most people don’t hate other races, we just do the occasional racism without even thinking about it.

        I can’t think of anyone with a more direct answer than Martin Luther King - “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Anyone who judges someone by the color of their skin is a racist

          I bet that’s the only thing you know from that speech, and I bet you’ve never read anything else he wrote.

          Here’s some of the other things he said during that speech:

          Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation,” King said in front of the Lincoln Memorial on Aug. 28, 1963. “But 100 years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination.

          It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked insufficient funds.

          There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, when will you be satisfied? We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality.

          I have a dream that one day down in Alabama with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, one day right down in Alabama little Black boys and Black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. I have a dream today.

          Sounds like all of that applies to black people in 2025. Almost like the term “racism” is not overused because there’s still a shit ton of it.

          Learn about Dr. King next time you put his words in your mouth and twist their meaning.
