      Just wait until I list some other things that weren’t legal not that long ago. I’m sure it will convince the group that all those things are actually bad.

      Slaughtering animals is gross and it’s done on a daily basis.

      Have you ever watched a video of an animal being butchered and dissected?

      Also:

      Wrong. While it may be a historical accuracy, it should have never have been. It depends (and should depend) on the consent of the one being watched.

      Not that long ago, gays were also a “mental illness”. People got smarter, and realised that ita all wrong. Wasnt there porn since ancient greece?

          There was an argument to be made about how problematic the porn industry is and that we collectively should think twice before watching something, especially on a mainstream site like PH, but this is just flat out stupid and homophobic

              May I ask, what kind of research have you been doing and what “coherency” is there in thinking gay is wrong?

              For example, if a neighbor (male) of you has a friend over (also male) to their apartment, and you hear no noise from them and see no pictures from them, you can have no idea of what they are doing.

              In what sense would it be disadvantageous or bad if they had gay sex?

                  First of all, thank you for taking the time to type this reponse. It’s interesting to hear other people’s perspectives.

                  I heard somewhere that a lot of artists and creative people are people who have experienced abuse in their childhood/youth.

                  I’m not really sure, though, in which direction the arrow of causality goes. I guess it’s more like: Creative people are more sensitive --> experience “normal” things more like abuse --> report later in life they were abused in their childhood.

                  Maybe I’m wrong about this, but I guess that’s how it was for me.

                  Also, even if gay-ness was a symptom of a sickness, forbidding gay-ness would definitely not help. Rather, I think of it as “my body wants to cure me and gayness is the cure, not the disease. It is an unusual method to make me feel better and maybe process sexual experience and get into social connections. It’s definitely not something that will make things worse.” That’s my idea, at least.
