I have been told ever since I was a little shit that when you die you go to heaven first wait in line for St Peter to judge you at the pearly gates? Is this in the Bible? I thought god did judging

    I know just a hint in the Bible, not quite literal, more like a vague suggestion:

    “…will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.”

    So the St. Peter part is made up and the pearly gates belong to something completely different. Just something that makes your way in quite difficult.
