Maybe you shouldn’t have supported genocide.

Never again means never again for anyone. Remember what you sold your soul for and try to redeem it.

If Trump wins because enough of you idiots couldn’t hold your nose and vote then the blood of those Palestinians is on your hands. You don’t get to absolve yourself because you chose not to participate in democracy.

You aren’t opposed to genocide because you couldn’t be assed to do the smallest thing to mitigate it.

Or maybe you shouldn’t have thrown yourself in the pro-genocide Genocide Joe Lite camp.

You don’t get to absolve yourself because you chose not to participate in democracy.

lmao what democracy? Did you choose Harris? What primary did she win?

You aren’t opposed to genocide because you couldn’t be assed to do the smallest thing to mitigate it.

By doing what, voting for someone complicit in the Biden-Harris regime’s genocide? You are so flipped around.

Never again means never again for anyone. Get it through your skull.

I’m not going to play chess with a pigeon but one day you’ll have your first moment of introspection and I hope it results in your realisation that while not complicit in the “Biden-Harris Genocide” you are absolutely 100% complicit in each and every consequence of a Trump-Vance administration which includes the genocide of Palestine.

Nobody’s “souls” matter anymore. The world is completely fucked and our physical bodies are going to be going through the ringer very soon. I hope you’re on the right side of the people who can now do whatever they want with absolutely no guardrails. Otherwise you’re about to REALLY experience solidarity.

I’ve learned no lesson. I secured a permanent residency abroad the first time this chucklefuck was in office, and I’ve already bought my plane ticket out. I feel so, so awful for people who voted reasonably and are stuck there, and I encourage everyone who can to get out now, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to let the self-righteous attitudes of people with no sense try to punish me for exercising logic.

How do you know they support genocide? A lot of american voters are voting against Trump, not for this year’s insincere Wall Street spokeperson.

On the other hand, I know someone that should feel guilty about the fate of Palestinians starting January…

The IDF thanks you for your service!

Not an american citizen, leftist (so not interested in the democratic party). Try again!

Only a troll would think by reading my messages that I view the death of Palestinians as a good thing. Again, try harder. You tankies are not fooling anyone.

I’m well aware about the friendship between Israel and the democratic establishment. But I also believe the Cheeto guy when he says he’s going to make it worse, because I’m not an idiot.

What’s a tankie? I’m no American either. I just dislike the “lesser evil” is better narrative in lemmy. It’s not any better. I know trump may make it worse? But what does worse mean? White phosphorus is not worse? Killing peace keepers and journalists not worse? Maybe shooting kids point blank in the head is not worse. Define worse please.

It doesn’t matter what you stand for but your comment clearly reflects that you want it to happen, just to prove your point. Go to hell.

My condemnation of the IDF is clear to anyone with a modicum of reading comprehension. You shouldn’t have skipped class when you were a kid 😆

And what’s worse is, IDK, total eradication of Gazans? Trump did say he doesn’t believe in a two state solution, and that he wanted a quick end to the war, knowing full well that there aren’t 100 ways Israel can get the “win” he wants Israel to get.

If you actually cared about Palestine, you wouldn’t regurgitate propaganda for someone who wants a win for Israel. You’d want the US president to use his country’s resource to make Israel stop its invasion immediately, without going for a “win”.

While you pretend to care for Gazans, they keep dying to the hands of Israeli soldiers. And it’s not just Palestinians anymore (cf Lebanon, among others). Please stop using them as a talking point.

And, since I know tankie’s stance on LGBT rights and feminism is also insincere, I’d like to remind everyone else (because they don’t actually give a shit) that women and trans people are now in danger in the US on top of all that.

Nowhere in my previous comments did I supported trump. I’m not an american. Do you have reading comprehension? Also idk where your condemnation of idf is, do you expect me to scroll through all your comments to find out? I saw you fantasising Palestinians deaths in 3 separate threads, that’s why I replied. Weirdo.

Don’t tell me what to speak and what not to. Buddy you say you aren’t American but looks like you lost a couple of bolts after the news. I still don’t know what tankie means, but I would appreciate if you don’t reply to me genocidal freak.

And if you don’t support Trump, maybe stop batting for commenters that regurgitate his propaganda. Their comments were moderated for a reason, bud.

Don’t bother replying, I know you’re acting in bad faith. Was your main account from .ml banned? It must be annoying to see someone not letting you have it your way, and credibly calling out your bullshit.

Because of the tenor of their comment clearly shows a tolerance for it via an investment in a genocide candidate.

Is trump going to do anything different though?

Former President Donald Trump declared Tuesday that Israel must “finish the problem” in its war against Hamas

      https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-israel-gaza-finish-problem-rcna141905

If the above is true, I don’t know why anyone would bring his up. It’s like choosing between two seats on a bus. One has broken glass on it, the other has broken glass and is on fire.

Is trump going to do anything different though?

Given that the policy is already maximalist, he cannot do worse. This is what liberals have tolerated for over a year.

They are both on fire, but one is honest about it. Maybe you will actually oppose genocide now that the orange man will be in charge.

Trump is gonna triple-down on the Palestinian genocide and pull all support from Ukraine and probably pull out of NATO to let Putin do whatever he wants to Europe.

He’s also promised violence against Americans who oppose him.

The Biden-Harris regime already tripled down on the genocide as much as is possible.

Re: Ukraine, forcing a diplomatic resolution is by far the best option for the Ukrainian people and any realistic person’s expectations of outcomes. Let’s hope they are no longer the pawns of American maximalist foreign policy.

Re: NATO, the best possible timeline is one where it ends as soon as possible.

Re: violence against Americans guess what we’re already there if you do anything worthwhile politically.

You’re replying to a lemmy.ml user, they almost certainly think pulling out of NATO and allowing Putin to continue his genocide in Ukraine is a good thing.
