I don’t understand how so many gaming companies have gone out of business this past decade or been shuttered entirely, for example Hi-Fi Rush was one of the most popular games I can think of in the past 5 years, and just for doing well and being successful, everyone was fired. Ain’t that some bullshit? Now Ubisoft, complete failure of a gaming company in so many ways, doing absolutely horribly, their stock prices plummeting, they sound like a bunch of cringe lords especially the CEO completely blaming the gamers for having any sort of standards and not just buying their crappy products. Like, I’m sorry that we don’t want to spend 60 to $70 minimum on a game that barely even plays well and has almost no content, monetized to all hell… And you want us to be thankful for that? Like no. I don’t know how you’re complaining about that. That’s crazy to me…
But like, how are they still in business? Over 80% drop in revenue. How the hell are they not bankrupt?
Because they’re still making billions. They’re just not making as many billions as they’d like, and as many as the investors are demanding.
That’s what’s driving the stock price drops more than anything else, but they’re not a broke business with no resources, no sales, and no hope heading into bankruptcy.
They’re just not feeding the vultures, and the vultures are going to force a sale to someone worse.
