It’s probably for the best that she’s less online, as things can suck here, but her stuff is iconic.

Love ya Paxiti! 💙💗🤍💗💙

Last I heard about her absence was this blog. In short, it wasn’t the bigots who drove her away, but transfems who don’t appreciate that there isn’t a monolithic trans experience. A ton of the most brutal vitriol against trans creators comes from within the community.

There seems to be a tiny minority of toxic shitheads who spearhead it, trying to police and purity test people’s identities. These ghouls are small enough to instigate drama without much recourse, as people forget about them quickly after they get debunked and called out. They’re so successful because they exploit the insecurities and trauma of other queer people. They get people to earnestly side with them, resulting in their narratives becoming popular. Many people have left the internet for significant periods as a result.

Ah I see. It’s so unfortunate that people like this exist, who turn online interaction into something one need to be just as careful about as IRL. Thankfully I’ve only had positive experiences here on blahaj zone…

What’s the saying? Apathy is worse than hate. It’s easy to overlook the bigots because their hate is expected and nothing will change it. But when members of your own community pick you apart for absolutely no reason, it hurts so much worse because we’re supposed to be supporting each other and instead ensure nothing meaningful actually gets done.
