The wide-spread mass executions of all concentration camp prisoners did not become very commonplace until later into WW2. Initially they were a captive labor force, and identification numbers can help simplify the organizational burden. As their fortunes turned in the war, though, they enacted what became known as their Final Solution, which ramped up over time.

They had other solutions before then. For instance, one idea was to literally ship them all to Madagascar. So, Madagascar would basically be Israel today. This plan was always problematic due to the power of the British Navy though, and once Rommel was turned back from his advance towards the Suez at El Alamein, simply became impossible.

If you look up this artist, which I don’t recommend, you’ll find this on their About page:

I am a centuries old racist cryptid. I cannot be stopped, I cannot be killed. I am fueled by my intense racism.

The rest of the comics very much live up to this statement, and then some. This is a Nazi comic, comparing minorities to insects.

Alright, my overly-optimistic personality made me feel this was a joke against over-beauracratic bug tracking at software companies. Like, Modules 1-20 are all broken by a Schnoffer update. Okay; get an engineer to start fixing away? No, we need to carefully list each and every Module that’s broken, verify it’s broken, and give each bug a number so we can individually verify it fixed before fixing the next one.

Granted, there’s often good reasons for it that aren’t made clear, but it’s still annoying.

It’s genocide denial of one stripe or another. I’m actually thinking holocaust denial (“why tattoo numbers on them if we were just going to kill them?”) but in any case it doesn’t fucking belong here and anyone posting this shit needs to get banned.

I say it’s definitely without a doubt a reference to the holocaust, but I can’t say what the joke was supposed to be or what the author thinks about the actual holocaust.

Seems like the man gets very angry the second he realizes he’s making a bug holocaust. Is that funny?

Hint: whenever somebody makes sneaky/sly holocaust references, that person is a nazi
