Well here’s a good idea for why you should not use Litecoin or the Litecoin Foundation wallet called Litewallet (Loaf wallet) or anyhthing Litecoin related in general especially for Android.

I was shocked to find that suddenly all the transactions showed received and sent and funds in LTC were visible in the wallet and yet they all show as zero £0.00 which is not even possible any way as transactions have to transact with available funds so it had to have and remain to have some value to send and receive in the first place which clearly does not exist according to Litecoin Foundation then?

So disputing it with support staff also eventually leads nowhere despite having initially been wiliing albeit seemingly willing to help as well as providing a link to the litecoin newborn mweb wallet on Google Play Store their newer beta wallet, but it’s the exact same result when syncing that wallet also.

I have even just tried to resync on a seperate wifi network and not on a mobile network and it produces the exact same result, everything syncs multiple times and yet all sums show a zero value in £ but it’s transparently clear that the funds exist in the wallet.

Now the support staff have gotten dismissive after hitting this dead end and a new rep has rudely and quite deliberately highjacked the conversation by continuing it in her name ( Kerry Washington) that conversation was amicably progressing until Kerry chimed in and began instantly to defelect and basically states that they the Litecoin Foiundation (Litecoin Company) are not willing to tie their hands with discussing my case any longer, I mean she litterally said that?

Basically Litecoin Foundation have stolen my Litecoin (LTC) and are trying to say now that they aren’t going to assist further, so basically they are saying I’ve stolen your money and I don’t care in essence.

Does this sound like a safe network for anyone then to transact with any more…clearly not!

Attached an image to the post showing that the transactions are not upheld by the Litecoin Foundation on their blockchain which is effectively useless then for some as it seems to rob them.

This is not an isolated case I’m afraid multiple online complaints seem to be spread across pages on the web stating the same and or similar events are occurring using Litewallet for Android.

Thank you yeah there’s never been much in it only really used it for exchanging twice I think? Second time out it broke so lesson learned thumbs down to Litecoin obviously both of them lol for me any way.

Litecoin them selves are not respecting your funds doing what they have. they should refund it if it is inaccessible period as a good will gesture obviously otherwise it speaks to their personality as a compoany as whole. In fact it is the one policing policy that should exist for every crypto that any missing and or inaccessible funds due to a network issue or wallet issue from the provider have to be refunded immediately upon proving it.

          Reasons Monero is cool:

          • privacy-focused - it basically creates a bunch of “fake” transactions so it’s nigh impossible to track which one is legitimate
          • mining-resistant - mining is intentionally unprofitable, so there’s likely a lot less waste
          • variable block size - keeps transactions fast and transaction costs low (as in, a few cents), at least with current volume
          • very little speculation, so valuation seems to be pretty stable, at least for the past 2 years or so

Regardless, whatever you do, don’t use a custodial wallet, gen your own make secure backups of your keys. You can also make multiple keys, so if you lose one, you can just move your money to another.
