He’s for a long time had a thing for Taylor, making weird comments that you’d expect out of a creepy high schooler. Things like being weirdly jealous sounding of her boyfriends, to iirc inviting her over, making a joke about comparing her to his wife, and now this. He obviously has a thing for her, and she does not give a fuck. He’s a grown up “niceguy” for sure.
I wonder if it’s because, regardless of being rich and famous, he can’t coerce a pop star like Taylor, he’s not that rich or famous.
