A friend who I’ve played WoW with for years gifted me an “RPG fantasy game” from GOG called ‘Under the Witch’, telling me it was a fighting style RPG. What I didn’t realize was that he was trolling me in the most hilarious way

This line right here was the first indication I had that I was being trolled. When I read this line, my jaw dropped 🤣 Basically, you fight this witch, and she uses very inappropriate and uhh let’s say saucy moves on you, and you either pass your turn and let her do it to you
This is perhaps one of the most vile games I’ve ever played and quickly uninstalled… but it was memorable enough that I had to share it with the world ♥
Huh, interesting. For “research purposes”, does one find a “good” one of these games? 🤔 Like, are there ones with decent story or actual gameplay? I was honestly surprised by how well the rendering and textures were in this game, but it was created entirely in unreal.
Good seems pretty subjective tbh but if you’re interested in “research”, f95zone is probably your best resource.
I’m not into those kinds of games, but I happen to personally know the dev of “The Symbiant” (we are on the same city-wide Discord server), which is a yaoi VN with a side of tentacles. It seems to have excellent reviews (96% all time with 500+ reviews, a lot for this kind of games), but that’s the only one I may recommend, albeit without having played to it myself.
From what I was told by said dev, most NSFW games are Visual Novels, where most of budget goes into the visuals, which are often externalized to specialized artists (or AI for some low quality cash grabs). And as the target audience isn’t exactly there for the gameplay, there is little incentives to shape out good gameplay or great stories. But some exceptions probably exists.
Gameplay wise, FlipWitch is a fun metroidvania from that side of steam. There is also Take Me to the Dungeon and Tamer Vale, both of which are decent Slay the Spire knock-offs.
Scarlet Maiden is great too if you’re a fan of Rogue Legacy.
…uh, I’ve heard.
Treasure of Nadia is a really good King’s Quest style game on Steam.
The Lust series is pretty good. It’s a horror game similar to Amnesia or Penumbra, except you’re infiltrating a sex cult.

edit: … and yes, after I bought these, steam has bombarded me with the most ridiculous erotic game suggestions for months!
Whatever you do, don’t use Steam reviews/scores on adult games to make your decision. I mean, if it’s Mixed then it’s probably bad, but there is an immense amount of 97% Positive games that are low effort tile puzzle asset flips/copy-paste jobs.
There’s a genre called Adult Visual Novels which can be a more … refined experience. Not so much games but more like illustrated choice-driven stories. Some may include mini-games or other game-like aspects.
https://f95zone.to/forums/games.2/ filter by VN or Completed and sort by descending rating. The first couple pages are full of excellent examples. However, note that a lot of them are still being developed and may only release updates once or twice a year.
You can find a lot of these on Steam, itch.io or on the developer’s Patreon page.
