Ok, I’m sorry for this question, and if this isn’t the right community, please let me know where I should ask it.
So a user in a different community is making a big deal about how terrible I am and that I have been “perma-banned” form an instance.
And he posted this screen shot as “proof.”
But I have no indication I have been perma-banned from any communities or instances and never every heard of this unix instance and I don’t even know how to use unix.
I’ve attached a screenshot. Can you guys better explain to me what this means?
And for reference here is the post of him saying it to me: https://lemmy.world/comment/12216663
I legit have no clue what he is trying to imply. Any pointers?
I don’t believe most people repeat pretty much the exact phrasing over and over and then lead normal lives. A hundred times one can find versions of the above quotes by browsing your history. I won’t respond anymore since it’s obvious this is your MO.
Enjoy the attention others give you!
Well, I mean, I did post a disclaimer right after posting the original article in question, in an effort to deflect this “attention.” Um, didn’t seem to work in that thread in the original community. :/
And I posted here for a technical answer since my posting history shows nothing every posted to the instance (which I’d never even heard of until today) that banned me.
But thanks for your input. I may not agree with it, but I support your right to it.
