I’m genuinely shocked that they added a customizable button on the 15P/PM, but don’t let you use it as a shutter button when the camera is open. That seems like a colossal oversight
I just checked and it works as a shutter button for me. Seems like it works as a shutter button only if you have it set to open the camera - if you don’t, whatever action it’s set to seems to take priority

My SonyEricsson phone in 2006 had that feature 🥲

Mine is set to toggle the torch, so that’d explain it
Also the volume buttons trigger the shutter, so seems a little redundant for all 3 buttons to do the same thing
Can’t you press volume up to act as a shutter button? That was a feature as old as thr iPhone 4, maybe older.
