For the sake of friendly banter, just be as friendly you can be and use neutral phrases as much as you can muster. And I mean comedy. I prefer situational comedy or comedy stories. Like there’s people that can just word a story right where it’s informative and hilarious. And why?

To say any one particular group, be it ethnicity, race, sexuality or otherwise is funnier than the rest, is still a broad stroke generalization. Just because you’re saying something positive instead of negative doesn’t make it any less problematic. It’d be like if I said all black people are really hip and trendy. That wouldn’t be okay. People are individuals.
