Back up now for me, all frontends.
Old Reddit is not dead, all Reddit is dead. Reddit is broke lol.
That is not universal. My local university forces you to pay to live on campus in the dorms for the first 2 years of your attendance regardless. You can choose to live elsewhere but you’re still paying the fees and no student is paying for two places to live lmao
Here? I don’t think so. On Reddit, fuckin’ probably lol.
I wouldn’t say huge as by most estimations that have been stated over the last 3 or 4 years, old Reddit accounts for only 1 or 2 percent of Reddit users (assuming that’s accurate), but there’ll definitely be an exodus
Ah fuck me, I used these guys.
Same. It’s an old shitbox I need to junk and replace but I’m a cheap bitch and it still works well enough so the bits will flow.

Round 30TB between music/tv/film/stand-up/books/comics/applications.
Did call centre work for years and per policy we had to try and get screen sharing set up (had to keep a specific fruity tech company happy since they spent so much money buying a company that made screen sharing software). I’d always do the same thing each and every call.
-Ask if they rebooted. Listen to them lie to me that they did right before calling me.
-Set up screen sharing.
-Query the system and see it currently has a 184 day uptime.
-Force a reboot while questioning my lifes goals.
Same. I’m a Doctor Who fan. I don’t need to learn lessons twice. My grandchildren will be able to watch the dumb shit I grew up with one way or another!

I had not heard of that, and am not sure I want to…
15ish years ago when Seagate was having lots of issues with their 2TB externals getting the click o’ doom I lost 6 2TB drives over 2 years.
The data was just data, easily re-acquirable, but fuck that was a pain in the ass.
