I really like this, it’s very eye-catching. I wonder what they’re looking it to be distracted from that cloud. Also, it seems kind of hard to describe, but there’s parts of this painting that seem weirdly flat. Not as a flaw, more of a style, I think, but I wonder what causes that impression.

I feel that. It’s like the flowers under feet are completely flat and undimensioned, but the backdrop falls away and the subjects are very round. The whole thing honestly looks trippy to me. I’m reminded of the time I took a very small dose of magic mushrooms in the woods and everything felt like it was closer and farther than it should be, and colors were so much more vivid than normal.
i would pay good $ for this, if i have any of course
